Imagine Canada has released the new results of the Canada Survey
of Giving, Volunteering and Participating. Conducted in 2004 by
Statistics Canada, the CSGVP includes new information about how
Canadians support one another and their communities.

Welcome
to vsconnector.ca – Windsor and Essex County’s gateway to
information and resources for the local voluntary sector. The
voluntary sector in Windsor and Essex County is made up of over
1,200 community organizations that exist to serve and benefit
residents of the local community. These not-for-profit
organizations often depend on the direction, participation and
support of volunteers to fulfill their role in the community.
These organizations are independent and institutionally distinct
from the formal structures of public and private sectors.
